Brent Collier has worked as a Health Professional since 1996 in positions ranging from High Performance Sports Science/Coaching, Health Science and Massage Therapy.
Brent completed further studies in 2001 when he graduated from University of Wollongong with a degree in Exercise Science and Clinical Rehabilitation.
Brent is the Director at Peak Health, one of Sydney’s leading Exercise Physiology and Allied Health Practices. Brent’s unique approach to treatment has helped improve his patients’ outcomes by applying evidence-based rehabilitation to all walks of life.
This 20-year experience has lead to him consulting alongside a number of leading specialists in their field including Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Rheumatologists, Immunologists, Oncologists and varied Allied Health professionals.
Brent’s real passion though, is helping patients with complex and chronic conditions. He takes pride in specialising in Cancer Care, Exercise Oncology, Chronic Fatigue CFS/ME, Chronic Pain and Complex Musculo-Skelatal Injury Rehabilitation.
Recently, Brent has been recognized for his clinical work and was honored to receive an ESSA Fellows award for “Inspirational Leadership in the Profession”.
Brent has also received numerous awards from Cancer Council NSW for work through his charity, Short Circuit Cancer as well as his involvement in the annual ‘Relay for Life’ event and his Enrich Programs, which has been recognized as being a major benefit for Cancer Survivors.
As well as working in his private practice, Brent has lectured at a number of universities, has been keynote presenter at industry conferences and has delivered injury rehabilitation and prevention solutions in the corporate sector implementing Functional Capacity Evaluations, Manual Handling and Corporate Health Initiatives.
When Brent is not working, he can be found at the beach with his beautiful wife and 3 children or in the bush on his beloved mountain bike.
