I have been involved in health, fitness and high performance sport since 1996 as an Exercise Scientist, Massage Therapist and Educator.
Brent and I first crossed paths at Sutherland Leisure Centre working with tweens and teenagers developing their strength and skills to prevent injury and perform at their peak.
A highlight of my career was working with NSWIS and Australian Swimming from 1997-2004. Today, as an ESSA* Accredited Exercise Scientist, I combine skills from Strength & Conditioning with Pilates Instruction for exercise rehabilitation, strength and sports performance.
As I move towards completing my Masters in Exercise Physiology, I am driven by society’s need to move more and move well, to benefit both physically and mentally and live a more mobile life, achieving whatever your goals might be.I have a keen interest inpatients with heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, parkinson’s and musculoskeletal injuries.
Movement definitely is Medicine, so I believe it should be incorporated into our daily lives regardless of age, skill level or goals. I love seeing people make friends and smile through movement and I see myself as the gap between Personal Trainers and Clinical Exercise Physiologists.
I am passionate about moving well, without pain and enjoying it with family, friends & pets!
